INSTRUCTIONS

  1. About 30 minutes before baking, let the cookie dough pieces rest at room temperature.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  3. Cut the croissants in half horizontally, but do not slice all the way through. Fill the inside of the croissants with two-thirds of the cookie dough pieces. Lightly flatten the cookie dough.
  4. Cover the tops of the croissants with the remaining cookie dough pieces and flatten lightly. Sprinkle with pistachios.
  5. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
