INGREDIENTS

2 sheets of frozen puffed pastry

1 jar of tomato-basil sauce

8 slices of mortadella

Grated mozzarella cheese

Pitted and sliced black olives

Half a bell pepper, chopped

8 small tomatoes, sliced

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Let the puffed pastry thaw and unfold the sheet on a floured surface.
  • Preheat the oven at 400°F.
  • With a sharp knife, cut the pastry sheet into 4 squares and cut horizontal strips from the edge of the pastry square to its centre (see photo). Place the pizzas on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  • Top pizzas to taste. We recommend some tomato sauce, one slice of mortadella, a few pieces of pepper and tomato, and grated cheese. Let the children have fun by choosing their toppings.
  • Fold the pastry strips over the pizzas by letting them cross over one another to create the appearance of mummy bandages.
  • Place two black olive slices on each pizza for the eyes.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the crust is golden. Drip some tomato sauce on top to make it look like blood.Happy Halloween!
